How funny would it be if we could grab our soul and show it to whomever was interested. It would be a way of saying, I am good, my soul is not black and tarnished. Life would be simple if this was the case.  No one would have to wonder who is good or bad. You could just say “let me see your soul”.

Then I would imagine the trend would be to market all kinds of electronic gadgets to help us read and quantify all those souls out there.  They could be used at trials, job interviews and pre-date screenings.  I could imagine the devices, marketed by Sony and the like of course, would have names like speed soul reader, or soul snatch (for scanning souls on the go). I would also imagine there would be a rise in soul thefts as well. Come to think of it not a lot of good would come out of it. I propose there are an equal amount of pros and cons. But one thing is for sure, the mystery of finding out who someone is, would be a trivial endeavor.  Show me your soul please….
