Biker Wedding
Posted in 35mm Film, Color, Life on August 24th, 2010 by John MastersMe and my friends were in Belgium sometime around 1991 and as we were walking down the street out pops this lady in white. The amount of time for the bride to cross the street from the bridal shop to the church was only seconds. What you cant see in the photo except for a hint on the right is that it was a biker wedding. There were rows of motorcycles. All lined up except for one which was obviously the bride and grooms. I wonder why we didn’t stick around to catch them leaving? I only know that the thought of standing still back then was about as foreign as the thought of moving on would be for me now. Funny how life is like that… I was only able to snap two shots with my mechanical K1000 but this has always been one of my favorites.
