Cars In Back

I just realized how many potentially great photos I have which would have been awesome but alas there were cars in the photo. You know that great shot you have of said building or people and their laying quietly in the background… cars, trucks, vehicles sitting there, taunting you with their frozen facial expressions.

This has always annoyed me and I guess I never thought about it much as I try to patiently crop the pesky vehicles out of the scene.  It got me thinking, about cars and not just how much we rely on them and how much time we spend in them, but rather how much they are around us in our environment, littering the urban landscape. Sitting there waiting patiently waiting for us to get back in and and drive them to our next destination.  So thinking back to some of my favorite shooting locations in Paris and other sites there are only certain shooting situations when your outdoors and you don’t have to compose a shot a certain way so as to leave out the trusty iron steeds.  Near the ocean or deep in the woods are the two situations that come to mind.

Now I just need to decide if I can live with this and incorporate them into the photo the same way as I would a tree or shrub or get to cracking on creative ideas to leave them out. If anyone has any thoughts on this I would be interested to hear from you.
